Global Brand Leader, W Hotels Worldwide

Anthony Ingham is Global Brand Leader for W Hotels Worldwide, the design powerhouse and industry innovator for fashionable fun-seekers. In this role, Ingham leverages his breadth of global experience to build the W brand, making it relevant in each market and driving innovative experiences and forward-looking design direction. Under Ingham’s guidance, W is on track to reach 60 hotels by 2018 with new hotels opening in Dubai, Goa, Tel Aviv, Punta de Mita, Las Vegas, Amman, Panama, Philadelphia and more.

Previously, Ingham served as Vice President, North America Brand Management for W Hotels, St. Regis Hotels & Resorts, The Luxury Collection and Le Méridien, where he oversaw the strategic direction of over 60 hotels and resorts. During this time, he developed innovative programming around W’s passion points including the TURN IT UP FOR CHANGE campaign, which has raised $100,000+ for the Human Rights Campaign and their quest for LGBT marriage equality.

Prior to this role, Ingham oversaw the four brands in Starwood’s Europe, Africa and Middle East (EAME) division, working across 34 countries to both create and raise awareness in a culturally diverse region where the brands were often introduced for the first time. This includes the opening of 20 new hotels and resorts: W Paris – Opera, The St. Regis Mauritius Resort; seven Luxury Collection hotels; and three Le Méridiens

Ingham joined Starwood in 2010 following tenure at InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG), where he held a variety of sales, marketing and guest experience positions, including leading the branded guest experience for more than 160 InterContinental hotels in over 60 countries.

A true global citizen, Ingham is originally from the United Kingdom and graduated from the University of Bath with Honors in Business Administration. A passionate skier, Ingham has lived in Hong Kong, Spain, Kenya, Australia, Belgium, and, now, New York City.
