Passionate about improving the online travel, Charlie launched Triptease to help hotels deliver a better digital experience and increase direct bookings.

Triptease quickly gained notoriety for it’s first product, Price Check. This smart widget sits on the hotel’s website and displays live prices from three OTAs. This reassures guests and increases direct bookings 20-35%.

Price Check is just one tool from Triptease’s set of conversion-optimisation solutions. In 2015 the firm was awarded Innovation of the Year at PhocusWright Europe and Charlie was named in HSMAI’s list of 25 Extraordinary Minds in Hospitality Sales & Marketing.

Charlie started his first business, FreshMinds Research, after studying Engineering at Oxford University. Whilst building this business he was named UK Young Entrepreneur of the Year by Esquire Magazine and profiled in Seth Godin’s bestselling book, Icarus Deception.

He is a member of the British Airways Business Advisory Board, where he Chairs the Personalisation Panel. He won The Sunday Times £5M London Entrepreneur Challenge, is a member of YPO Manhattan, a Companion of CMI and a Fellow of the British American Project.
