CEO & Co-Founder, Roomer

Life Happens to all of us.
Every day, thousands of travel plans get disrupted - resulting in massive losses for travelers, as well as for hotels.
Today, hotels have to absorb the rising costs of cancellations: from lower occupancy rates and RevPAR, to lower Life Time Value of guests, which are unhappy for paying a cancellation fee - a product they never get to use.

Gon has been building Life Happens - a new Cancellation Protection product, offered by hotels to guests while making a direct booking for a small premium.
Life Happens automates the cancellation and refund process, handles the risk management and even absorbs the refund costs instead of the hotel, while sharing the revenue of Life Happens sales with the hotels.

Gon is the CEO & Co-Founder of Roomer, the secondary marketplace for hotel reservations - where travelers book their hotel reservations directly from other travelers who can’t use theirs and are looking to mitigate their losses from cancellation fees.

Gon is a Member of the Advisory Board for Berkshire Hathaway Travel Protection, and has been lecturing to students about Technology, Travel and Entrepreneurship in New York University, Duke University, and more.
Gon holds degrees (magna cum laude) in Communications, Interactive Media, Business Administration and Entrepreneurship from IDC Hertzliya.
