David Duggins

Director
von Essen Hotels

David is a Chartered Accountant specialising in turnaround and recovery. He now works as an independent director, but until 2010 he was a partner in Ernst & Young, whom he joined in 2002 from Arthur Andersen, where he had spent the previous 20 years. His focus is on bringing stability to companies where there is a clear need for refinancing, restructuring or sale. He has been the sole director of the 27 operating companies in the von Essen Hotels group since April 2011, working closely with the Administrators and Lenders to sell the portfolio of luxury hotels.
