Andreas Löcher is Head of Division of Investment Management Hotel at Union Investment Real Estate GmbH, Hamburg, since July 2010. He is in charge of the hotel investment strategy and coordinates all Hotel Acquisitions and Sales activities within the Hamburg-based property investment company. The widespread hotel portfolio of Union Investment containing 14 hotel operators/brands in six country markets currently comprises 30 real estate properties with a current market value of about 1.7billion EUR. For its open-ended real estate funds, Union Investment plans to acquire more in Europe. Moreover, the hotel portfolio will also be continuously enlarged by selective acquisitions in the budget segment.

Prior to joining Union Investment, Mr Löcher was Head of Hotel Acquisitions & Sales at Deka Immobilien GmbH, Frankfurt and a Vice President at Aareal Bank AG, Wiesbaden, responsible for real estate finance (hotel).
