Ramsey Mankarious is Chief Executive of Cedar Capital Partners based in London.  Cedar is a specialist hotel investment firm that acquires and asset manages hotels on behalf of institutions and high net worth investors.  Since 2004, Mr. Mankarious has acquired hotels with a value in excess of €1 billion including the:

• Savoy Hotel, London
• Monte Carlo Grand Hotel, Monaco
• Four Seasons Hotel des Bergues, Geneva
• Mandarin Oriental Hotel, Prague
• Richemond Hotel, Geneva
• Portfolio of 7 European 5-star hotels
• Sanderson Hotel, London
• St. Martins Lane Hotel, London

Prior to founding Cedar, Mr. Mankarious was Executive VP of Acquisitions and Development for Kingdom Holding, a major investor in the tourism industry with sizeable holdings in both hotel real estate and management companies (Four Seasons, Fairmont and Mövenpick). In his position, Mr. Mankarious was responsible for the company’s hotel investment activities within Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Asia.

Prior to joining Kingdom, Mr. Mankarious was Associate Director at HVS International in their London and NY offices.  At HVS, Mr. Mankarious supervised and performed hotel valuations, feasibility studies and other consulting services in over thirty countries throughout Europe, the US, the Middle East, Africa and Asia. 

Mr. Mankarious received his MA in Property Valuation and Law from City University Business School in London and his BA in Hotel and Restaurant Management from Michigan State University in the US.  Mr. Mankarious has authored numerous tourism-related articles and publications and is a member of the Advisory Board of Stenden University, the Real Estate & Development Advisory Council at Michigan State University’s School of Hospitality Business, Hotels’ Investment Outlook magazine and Hospitality Style Magazine.
