Duncan Poole

The William Pears Group

Duncan Poole is a Director at The William Pears Group and leads the group’s investment activity within the hospitality sector.

Previous to his recruitment by Pears in 2011 Duncan was Head of Hotels for West Register, the real estate work-out vehicle of The Royal Bank of Scotland. During his time with West Register Duncan led the acquisition of over 40 hotel properties including the restructuring and joint venture acquisition of the Jarvis Hotels group.

Prior to RBS Duncan part of the Capital Markets team at CBRE Hotels where he advised on around €3billion of hotel transactions across the EMEA region.
