Rob leads a specialised lifestyle team, focusing on hotel and resort design, mixed-use and residential projects in Europe, Asia-Pacific, and the Middle East.  This team benefits from the expertise of a global studio sharing creative design solutions and research, while collaborating closely with regional offices to ensure that all developments are sensitive to the demands of local markets.

 A graduate of University of New York and Washington University, Rob headed HOK’s hotel design group in London prior to joining Woods Bagot in 2005.

He has worked extensively in Asia on hotel and resort masterplanning projects. Additionally, Rob lived in Indonesia where he lead hotel and residential projects, an experience that gave him an early awareness of the need for design that is culturally aware and does not simply cater for the mass tourist market.

After living in Indonesia and working extensively throughout Asia focussing on hotel and resort projects, Rob is currently leading Woods Bagot’s hospitality projects in London, Spain, Cyprus, Russia, Belize, Mauritius, Turkey, Thailand and Montenegro.

Woods Bagot has recently announced five significant London hotel projects that fall under Rob’s stewardship.  His distinct vision for sustainable luxury, which offers bespoke travel experiences to ABC1 travellers, has been recognised globally by developers as leading the international lifestyle market.
