The international resort hotel industry has been hit hard by recent economic and market conditions. The challenge is to develop a new business model and concept that would provide investors and operators with the opportunity to achieve better than average returns with lower than average levels of risk, while also anticipating how resorts must adapt to the new economic, political, technological and social realities of the coming decade.

Student teams from hotel schools across Europe and the US have been pitching their case studies to a group of judges prior to IHIF and the winning team will present on this session.
