Sabina is responsible for PPHE Hotel Group’s acquisition and development projects globally, with a focus on Europe. Sabina has over 15 years experience in the hospitality sector, having worked at PPHE Hotel Group for over two years and previously as an advisor for Christie + Co and TRI Hospitality Consulting (now part of CBRE Hotels) and the Unctad/ITC (UN/WTO). PPHE Hotel Group owns, leases, operates, franchises and develops full service upper upscale and lifestyle hotels in major gateway cities, regional centres and select resort destinations, predominantly in Europe. The Group’s hotels operate under three distinct brands, Park Plaza® Hotels & Resorts, art’otel® and Arenaturist. The Group has an exclusive licence from Carlson Hotels, one of the world’s largest hotel groups, to develop and operate Park Plaza Hotels & Resorts in Europe, the Middle East and Africa. The upper upscale lifestyle art’otel brand is wholly owned by the Group and it has a controlling ownership interest in Arenaturist, one of Croatia’s leading hospitality companies. The portfolio comprises 40 hotels in operation offering a total of more than 9,200 rooms. With almost 3,200 rooms in Central London under the Park Plaza brand, it is one of the largest international upper upscale brands within the M25 motorway vicinity of London. The Group also has a strong presence in Amsterdam, Berlin and Croatia. The development pipeline includes two new art’otels in London’s Hoxton and Battersea areas, which are expected to add a further 500 rooms to the portfolio by the end of 2019.
